(2) Chinese elmwood chair/stools, which has been resourcefully employed as tables, reflects the versatility and enduring design of traditional Chinese furniture. The surfaces are adorned with a finely aged leather that tells a story of multifaceted use and appreciation. Purchased in 1985 for $867, these pieces exude a rustic charm that complements the sturdy and warm elmwood frames beneath. While their age as antiques is suggested, their style is timeless, blending seamlessly into contemporary decor as accent tables or additional seating. Condition Report: The leather tops exhibit a patina that only decades of use can bestow, bearing marks, scuffs, and discoloration that underscore their authenticity and history. The elmwood base, known for its durability, shows wear consistent with age and use, preserving the integrity and robust nature of the stools.
