This Russian lacquer box is a beautiful example of traditional craftsmanship. Its sleek, oval shape and lustrous black finish outside, combined with a deep red lacquer inside, make it a striking piece for collectors or as a decorative item. Provenance: While there are no visible markings to identify the artist or workshop, the box's style and execution are characteristic of traditional Russian lacquerware, often from the villages of Fedoskino, Palekh, Kholui, or Mstera.
