#61 • Traditional Chinese Coin Glass Display Piece

Part of 10/29 Lani Rd Kapahi (KAUAI) Personal Property Auction (timed auction by Malama Auctions & Realty)

High bid $8.00

Status: Sold

The lot shows a decorative piece featuring a traditional Chinese coin encased in a thick, clear glass block. The coin is round with a square hole in the center, a typical design of ancient Chinese currency. The surface of the coin displays Chinese characters, likely representing a specific dynasty or period of issuance. The clear glass surrounding the coin has a textured, slightly rippled surface, giving the impression of light distortion and depth. The overall aesthetic is simple yet striking, blending the antique coin’s historical significance with the modern, minimalist style of the glass encasement.
