Groen AH/1E-100 Description The Groen AH/1E-100 insulated floor kettle has a 100-gallon capacity and is ideal for cooking large batches. Remaining cool to the touch, the unit retains heat and is constructed of durable stainless steel. It is 2⁄3 jacketed, filled with water from the bottom up, and that water turns to steam, which in turn heats the food. Because the cover is equipped with a counterbalanced actuator, the lid can stay in an open or closed position. The Groen AH/1E-100 stationary floor kettle has front-mounted controls to ease access, and a regulating thermostat helps maintain temperatures between 150 and 270 degrees Fahrenheit by turning the heat off and on as needed. A standard pilot lights electronically for quick ignition, while the unit's steam source is gas heated and self-contained. Leaving solids inside, the 2-inch draw-off valve drains liquids from the pot.
