18" White mother of pearl with colored mother of pearl pieces on 3 stands connecting to be one necklace. Has green, yellow and red round slabs of mother of pearls. These fresh water pearls are made from Mother of Pearls. "Mother of Pearls" is the scraping of the interior wall/lining of oyster/mollusk called nacre to make pearls and jewelry faster. Real pearls are made out of same nacre which takes months to years to form inside a clam/oyster. Mother of pearl process is much faster
