The is the largest Limoges platter I have ever owned.  Marked with both the Limoges France and Raphael Well Co. stamps, this piece is from the early 1900s and is in very good vintage condition with no detectable chips or cracks. The platter features a realistic painting of two game birds with background landscape and a stylized feather designed outlined in raised gold paint. This handled platter has matching game bird luncheon plates, featured elsewhere in this auction. This piece has been used for years at our holiday celebrations and stands up well to gentle hand-washing and drying.
