This bronze tabletop reproduction of Frederic Remington’s “Bronco Buster” is an ideal tribute to our island paniolos. Set atop a marble base, the sculpture itself is bronze, heavy and incredibly detailed. “Bronco Buster was Remington’s first bronze sculpture, and a cast was presented to President Theodore Roosevelt by his Rough Riders in 1898. This piece is in good vintage condition and was purchased at the traveling fine art auctions that used to visit our island in the 1980s and ‘90s.
