#11 • Hand- Painted Russian Nesting Dolls, Set of 5

Part of 12/21 Wawae Rd (KAUAI) Collaborated Personal Property Auction (timed auction by Malama Auctions & Realty)

High bid $26.00

Status: Sold

These five Russian nesting dolls are hand-painted in traditional Matryoshka style with rosy cheeks, long eyelashes, and realistic faces. This set is primarily blue with intricate floral motifs painted on the dolls’ “clothing.” The largest doll, which was exposed to more sun than the inner dolls, shows a little fading.
