In 1962, the World’s Fair came to New York City. The fair was a favorite of my family, and the Vatican Pavillion was big draw for the Catholic audience. This wall plaque is a souvenir of that fair. The plaque features a replica of the Pieta in a silver medallion on top, and a prayer to the Blessed Mother beneath. It is in its original box. Both the plaque and the box show signs of wear.
