Disney’s “Spring Rescue” is the fourth in a four-sericel series called “The Many Seasons of Winnie the Pooh” depicting Pooh and his friend throughout the seasons of the year. It is a limited edition of 5,000 pieces produced in 1998. The sericel was placed against a background scene recreated by Disney artists and printed on premium quality acid-free paper. Based on the 1958 animated featurette “Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day,” the sericel comes in its original gold frame with the Certificate of Authenticity taped to the back. The other thee sericels in the series are also available in this auction. In good vintage condition with a few silverfish holes on the backing paper of frame, signs of a lifetime on Kauai.
