An intricately hand-carved wooden wall mask or relief panel, depicting a serene female figure adorned with an elaborate headdress and ornamental jewelry. The piece features detailed carving throughout, including a radiating crown-like halo motif, floral scrollwork, and carefully sculpted facial features. The graceful expression and stylized proportions are characteristic of Balinese and Indonesian decorative carving traditions, where artisans often create masks and reliefs representing deities, dancers, or mythological figures. These carvings are frequently used as architectural décor or ceremonial-inspired wall art, reflecting the island’s long heritage of temple sculpture and wood carving. Crafted from solid wood, the piece displays visible hand-carved textures and natural wood grain that enhance the dimensional quality of the design. The radiating headdress creates a dramatic silhouette that makes the sculpture particularly striking when mounted on a wall.
