Vintage Italian-made music box featuring a fabric-covered exterior in a warm golden velvet tone and raised on decorative metal feet. The box opens to reveal a fabric-lined interior with divided storage compartments, making it suitable for jewelry or small keepsakes. The underside is marked “Made in Italy” and includes a traditional key-wind music mechanism. When wound, the internal movement is designed to play music as the lid is opened. The box retains its original winding key, stored inside the compartment. Music boxes of this style were commonly produced in Italy as decorative keepsake pieces, combining classic mechanical music movement with practical jewelry storage. Music box works intermittently.
