Status: Sold

Hand carved and hand painted folk art cat sculpture depicting a tall stylized mother cat with a smaller kitten positioned beside her. The figures are carved from wood and finished with warm brown tones accented by white polka dots and a contrasting pink chest area on the larger cat. Both cats feature expressive painted faces with colorful eyes, whiskers, and stylized markings that give the piece a lively and playful character. The tall cat stands upright in a graceful elongated pose while gently holding one paw near its chest, creating a whimsical and affectionate composition with the smaller companion cat at its side. The carved details and painted accents emphasize the folk art aesthetic often seen in hand-crafted decorative pieces. This sculpture makes a charming decorative accent for shelves, tabletops, or display cabinets and would appeal to collectors of folk art, hand carved figures, and cat-themed décor.
