Waioli & Nuhou Corporation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich, multicultural history of Kaua‘i. Entrusted with historic sites and collections by sisters Miss Elsie and Miss Mabel in 1975, the organization continues their legacy of stewardship today. We care for the Grove Farm Museum, Waioli Mission House, Mahamoku, and a collection of historic plantation locomotives all listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places. Through this kuleana (responsibility), we honor the stories of Kaua‘i’s people, land, and heritage while keeping them accessible for generations to come.
